Peter Kelman joined Hugo Neu Corporation as Vice President of Business Development at Hugo Neu Corporation and Hugo Neu Americas S.A., in May 2013. Peter has instituted new accounting procedures at Hugo Neu Recycling and spearheaded the implementation of a state-of-the-art recycling facility at Hugo Neu Americas, SA in Puerto Rico. From 2011 until he joined HNC in 2013, Peter was Financial Director of Sims Metal Management Limited, one of the world’s largest metals recycling companies, with 250 facilities on five continents. He also served as Financial Director for the United Kingdom-based energy firm Chinook Sciences’ U.S. division from 2008 to 2010, and was Financial Controller of Hugo Neu Schnitzer East, a subsidiary of HNC, from 1999 to 2008. A graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business, Peter is both a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant.
