Jim Haggerty is a principal professional consultant to Hugo Neu Corporation on government relations, public relations and public affairs issues. An attorney, author and communications consultant, Jim has worked on environmental and sustainable business issues for more than 15 years. He has worked with Hugo Neu since 2002, and led the communications effort for the reintroduction of New York City's curbside recycling program. Jim is also nationally known for his work in crisis and litigation communications, public affairs and high-level reputation management. Jim holds a B.A. from Binghamton University, and J.D. from Fordham and Stetson Universities. A frequent writer and lecturer, Jim is the author of In The Court Of Public Opinion (ABA Books, 2009), now in its second edition. He also writes a column for Corporate Counsel magazine, and hosts an "In The Court Of Public Opinion" radio show. Jim's has also written for USA Today, The New York Times, Forbes and The National Law Journal.
